Amsterdam, The Netherlands — January 8, 2018
Aigent, the leading artificial intelligence driven solution for customer call centers, today announced it opened an office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
In recent years, Amsterdam has emerged as a thriving hub for start-ups. With its rich and diverse talent pool sourced from Europe and all over the world, the city is recognized as a prime source of business, scientific development, and startup innovation. Tech companies such as Booking.com and WeTransfer grew out of Amsterdam’s technology scene, while Google, Salesforce, Cisco, and other tech leaders have opened offices in the city. A prime reason for this growth has been the Dutch government’s negotiation of favorable trade deals with many countries that provide subsidies to businesses, enabling companies that operate there to flourish.
“We chose Amsterdam because it is one of the premier cities in the world for early-stage companies,” said Ray Iglesias,” Co-Founder and CEO of Aigent. “The research and development subsidies provided to us were critical to laying the foundation for our technology.
Sebastian Lagemann, Co-Founder and CTO of Aigent, continued “Because there is no language barrier compared to other cities in Europe, we can tap into the best engineering talent from both the European Union as well as other nations around the world as I build out our technology team.”
To further develop its artificial intelligence platform, Aigent is focused on creating a reliable speech recognition technology, which can break down the audio of a speech recording into individual sounds. By analyzing each sound, algorithms can identify the most probable word fit in that language and transcribe those sounds into text. To do so requires sophisticated data science and engineering expertise. Aigent is focused on sourcing talent that can meet these and other emerging requirements from its innovative platform.
Aigent is a Live Voice AI Saas platform that quickly and easily connects to most existing premise or cloud-based telephony systems and provides real-time, content-based guidance to call center agents. Detecting opportunities during a live call, Aigent helps agents deepen customer relationships while supporting corporate client objectives to generate new and protect existing revenue.
